Common questions

I forgot my password.

On the log-in screen tap "Forgot your password?", enter your email, then type the 6-digit code we send you and choose a new password.

I never got my confirmation email.

Check your spam folder, then tap "Resend email" on the "Check your email" screen. You can type the 6-digit code from the email into the app.

How do I delete my account?

How do I report something?

Tap the "⋯" menu on a post or a comment, or the Report button on a writer's page, and choose a reason. Pieces reported by several people are hidden until we have reviewed them.

How do I block someone?

Use the "⋯" menu or the Block button on their page. You can undo it any time in Settings, under Blocked accounts.

Someone has copied my work.

Email us at the address above with a link or the title, where it appears, and proof that the work is yours. We will review it and may remove the content. See our Terms.

Safety

If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number. In the US you can call or text 988 for crisis support.
